Why You Need a Vanity Table

Most of us use our bathrooms to put on our lotions and makeup in the morning. The problem with this is that bathrooms have a limited amount of storage space and tend to become cluttered. Not only that, but when multiple people share a bathroom, getting dressed in the morning can be difficult. Vanity tables, also referred to as dressing tables, can help solve this problem. Here are some reasons why you should use a bedroom vanity table:

Reduce Bathroom Clutter

One of the biggest problems with putting on makeup in the bathroom is that it can create a lot of clutter. Vanity tables solve this issue because they have enough space for you to store all of your makeup and beauty supplies in one, convenient place. Now, your bathroom storage can be freed up for things like first aid supplies and extra towels. Overall, a good vanity table can help your morning go a lot smoother.

Use it as a Workspace

Vanity tables are mostly used in the mornings when you’re getting dressed for the day and in the evenings when you’re getting ready for bed. Rather than ignore it for the rest of the day, you can easily convert it into a workspace! Vanity tables can easily double as a desk, which means you have an extra spot to use your laptop, read, pay bills, or work on one of your craft projects. If you do intend to use it as a desk, as well, make sure that you buy one that has a large enough surface.

Create Extra Seating

Space can be at a premium in some bedrooms, which means that people usually just sit on their beds. If you do have a vanity table, however, this can give you another option. Even if you’re not using the vanity table, you can still use the chair to rest and relax. Buying a vanity with an extra comfortable chair can make it even more versatile.

They Don’t Take Up a Lot of Space

Another great benefit to using a vanity table is that they actually don’t take up a lot of floor space, so they’re a good choice even in smaller bedrooms. Many think that they are similar to desks, but even though they are shaped the same and can double as desks, they’re much more compact. To save even more space, you don’t even need to get one with an attached mirror – you can easily hang a mirror on the wall, instead. You can also use a cushioned bench instead of a chair, which can save even more floor space. Just tuck the bench underneath the table when it’s not in use.

As you can see, vanity tables, or dressing tables, are a great addition to any bedroom. Not only can they make getting ready in the morning much easier, but they are also incredibly versatile.
